BridgeType Terms of Use

1. Scope

These Terms of Use apply to the BridgeType Android app and the BridgeType website at https://farzadj.github.io/BridgeType/.

Android application ID: com.fj.BridgeType.

2. Purpose

BridgeType is a translator keyboard and selected-text translation utility. It is intended to help users compose, receive, translate, dictate, and insert chat text through normal Android input and sharing features.

Translations may contain mistakes. You should verify important, legal, medical, financial, or sensitive translations before relying on them.

3. Use of the app

  • You may use BridgeType for personal communication and translation.
  • You are responsible for the text you type, paste, dictate, copy, share, translate, and send.
  • You should not use the app to bypass another app's rules, access restrictions, privacy controls, or payment controls.
  • You should not misuse the keyboard, subscription, or language model download features.

4. Privacy and safe access

BridgeType does not use AccessibilityService, chat-screen scraping, clipboard monitoring, or overlays to inspect private chats. See the Privacy Policy for details about what text the app can process and how it handles model downloads, voice recognition, and local settings.

5. Subscriptions and Pro features

BridgeType may offer optional Pro access through Google Play subscriptions. Google Play handles payment processing, renewal, cancellation, refunds, and tax handling. Pro features, limits, pricing, and availability may change over time.

6. Availability and changes

The app, website, language support, UI, model behavior, voice recognition behavior, and feature limits may change over time. Some features depend on Android version, device keyboard behavior, installed speech services, Google Play availability, and ML Kit model support.

7. No warranty

BridgeType is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, no warranty is given that the app will always be uninterrupted, error-free, accurate, or suitable for every device, language, messenger app, or use case.
