BridgeType Support

Keyboard setup

• Install BridgeType from your Android device.
• Open the app and follow the onboarding steps.
• Enable BridgeType Keyboard in Android keyboard settings.
• Choose BridgeType Keyboard while typing in a messenger app.
• Download the ML Kit language models you need before offline translation.

Common limitations

• Some messenger apps may restrict text selection, replacement, or sharing.
• Voice recognition depends on your Android device and installed speech service.
• ML Kit language models require network access when first downloaded.
• BridgeType does not read private chat screens automatically for privacy and Play Store safety.
