This Privacy Policy applies to the FlashEnglish Android application and the project website published at farzadj.github.io/FlashEnglish.
App package name: com.fj.flashenglish.
2. Data stored locally on your device
FlashEnglish is designed to work offline after installation. Most study information is stored locally on your device, including:
- study progress and local session state
- favorites and hard-card markers
- settings such as theme, interface language, learner language, speech, and study preferences
- milestone and workflow progress
- user-created flashcards and local edits to bundled content
3. App languages and learner-language support
The app interface is available in English and German.
Learner-language support may be available for content such as prompts, examples, grammar explanations, and study text in Persian, Italian, Spanish, Russian, Arabic, Chinese, and French, depending on the bundled content.
4. Accounts
FlashEnglish does not require a custom FlashEnglish account to use its core study features.
5. Advertising and consent
FlashEnglish may use Google Mobile Ads, including interstitial and rewarded ad flows, depending on the feature and app configuration.
The app may also use Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to manage consent where required.
6. Subscriptions and purchases
FlashEnglish includes an optional Google Play Billing integration for Pro access.
Payments, subscription management, and transaction handling are processed by Google Play, not by a custom FlashEnglish backend.

- You can change theme, app language, learner language, and speech preferences inside the app.
- You can choose whether to interact with optional rewarded-ad flows where they are offered.
- You can choose whether to subscribe for Pro access through Google Play.
